After a 15-year career as an institutional equity trader, Charles realized his true passion for real estate in 2013. Here, his business acumen and financial background on Wall Street quickly propelled him to become one of the top producing commercial and residential brokers in Charleston. Since launching his own firm in 2018, Charles has consistently been in the top 1% of Charleston brokers.

With the founding of Constant Properties, Charles’ commitment to ensuring seamless transactions—for both buyers and sellers of residential and commercial properties alike— continues. Honesty, integrity, and industry expertise are hallmarks of his work helping clients navigate the competitive Charleston market. Charles understands that a successful closing is more than merely identifying the right property. A Charleston broker must negotiate everything including Board of Architectural Review requirements, tax credits, and conservation easements. His deep understanding of these unique challenges is what makes him an expert in Charleston’s historic luxury real estate market. Charles has represented numerous retail and office tenants, as well as landlords looking for the best tenants possible.

Charles was born in Hartford, Connecticut, but has strong family ties in Baltimore, Maryland, Washington, D.C., as well as Lexington, Kentucky. In addition, Charles is a member of The Society of the Cincinnati, the nation's oldest patriotic organization which works to promote knowledge and appreciation of the achievement of American independence and to foster fellowship among its members.
